The UniBinder 8.1 by Unibind is an automated thermal binding machine capable of binding 6 documents simultaneously and can crimp documents up to 120 pages, permanently binding documents in less than two minutes. It is the perfect binding system for small to medium offices that want the benefits of a professional bindery without the lengthy lead-times and costs. The automatic, built-in crimping system allows you to easily crimp documents after they have been bound. The UniBinder 8.1 binding machine is compatible only with Unibind Covers.

How To Use:

The UniBinder 8.1 is one of the easiest thermal binding machines to use. First, place your pages inside your desired Unibind cover and position the document spine side down on the UniBinder heating element. A red LED light will indicate the process has started. Next, after the LED light turns green, move each document in the crimping element, which will automatically crimp one book at a time. Finally, set the document to the metal cooling tray which allows the resin to properly set. Allow up to 3 minutes for the resin to set in this tray. The machine can hand up to 6 books at a time, depending on page count.
