The FireKing CF7236-D Fire-Rated Cabinet delivers UL-certified fire protection and high-capacity storage in a 72" tall vertical cabinet. With four fully adjustable shelves rated for 160 lbs. each, this cabinet is ideal for oversized documents, end tab filing, and archival materials. Made in the U.S.A., it features a UL-listed key lock (E-Lock optional), heavy-duty steel construction, and a durable powder coat finish in a variety of colors. Includes a UL 1-Hour Class 350 fire rating and limited lifetime warranty.

FireKing storage cabinets are built to order and ship via freight. Delivery method and access information are required at checkout to ensure smooth fulfillment. Available options include:
- Cabinet Color: Choose from 11+ standard finishes.
- Lock Type: Standard key lock (included), optional E-Lock available.
- Delivery Type: Is this shipping to a residential or commercial location?
- Freight Method:
- Dock Delivery – Free (Delivered to a commercial dock, left in crate)
- Liftgate Delivery – Add $95 (Lowered to ground level, left curbside or at first door)
- Lobby or Garage Delivery – Add $295 (Placed inside covered entry, left crated)
- Full-Service Delivery – Add $495 (Placed in room of choice, uncrated, packaging removed)
- Semi-Truck Access Required: A 53' tractor trailer must be able to access the delivery address.

How fireproof is the FireKing CF7236-D cabinet?
This model is UL Class 350 rated for 1 hour, keeping contents below 350°F even in 1700°F fires. This protects paper and basic digital media from fire damage.
Can I store legal and letter files inside?
Yes, but not ideally. We recommend an End Tab FireKing File Cabinet if you intent to store end tab files or a verrtical/lateral unit for top tab folders. This will not accommodate hanging files either. It's suitable for storing records in binders, boxes or books. If your file folders are already in boxes, this is ideal.
Is this cabinet waterproof?
No, but it is water-resistant. The cabinet offers some protection from sprinkler systems and fire hoses, but is not submersion-rated.
What is the weight limit for each shelf?
Each shelf holds up to 160 lbs. when evenly distributed. Additional shelves can be added.
Can I upgrade the lock?
Yes. FireKing offers an optional E-Lock (electronic keypad) available when ordering or via retrofit kit.
Does this unit require installation?
It does not require permanent installation, but we recommend thinking about how you are going to move an 892 lbs unit once it arrives.
Will it fit through a standard doorway?
Yes. At 36" wide and 19.25" deep, the CF7236-D fits through standard 36" doorways. Please verify hallway and elevator access in advance. Tight turns will hinder the ability to delivery the unit.
Can I adjust the shelves after delivery?
Yes — all four shelves are fully adjustable in 1" increments using internal support tracks.
Is it made in the U.S.A.?
