Convert Standard File Folders into Classification Folders
Tabbies Earflap Fasteners help turn ordinary file folders into sectioned classification folders without replacing your existing supplies. These manila earflap fasteners slip over a standard two-prong folder fastener, giving you an added filing section for documents that need to be separated by date, subject, client, case, invoice, medical record, project, or custom category.
Each earflap includes a bonded fastener strip with a 1-inch capacity, allowing you to add and secure paperwork inside the folder after the flap is installed. They are a practical option for offices that want the function of a classification folder while continuing to use existing end tab or top tab folders with prong fasteners.
Common Uses
- Convert regular file folders into classification-style folders
- Add extra filing sections inside folders with existing two-prong fasteners
- Organize documents by date, subject, client, case, invoice, or project
- Separate paperwork inside legal, medical, accounting, school, or office files
- Create a cost-effective alternative to buying new classification folders

How Earflap Fasteners Work
To use, slip the punched flap over an existing two-prong fastener inside the folder, close the prongs to secure it, then fold the flap forward. Documents can then be attached to the bonded fastener strip on top of the earflap, creating a separate filing section within the same folder.
Why Choose Tabbies Earflap Fasteners?
Tabbies Earflap Fasteners are a simple way to expand folder organization without changing your entire filing system. They are especially useful when a file grows beyond a single stack of papers and needs clear internal sections for faster access, better document control, and cleaner recordkeeping.
