Unibind Hard Covers by Peleman create premium, book-style presentations for reports, proposals, manuals, business plans, real estate books, financial documents, training materials, and client presentations. Each cover combines a rigid front and back cover with an integrated steel spine and thermal binding resin.

These portrait-format hard covers create a polished, permanent presentation without punching holes, coils, combs, staples, or loose binding parts. Insert the pages, place the book into a compatible Unibind thermal binding machine, crimp when required, and allow the finished book to cool.

Key Features

  • Premium hardcover finish gives reports, manuals, books, and proposals a professional appearance.
  • Rigid front and back covers protect the document and create a book-style presentation.
  • Integrated steel spine holds pages securely and creates a clean bound edge.
  • Thermal binding resin bonds the page edges without punching holes.
  • Eight standard colors are available: Black, Dark Blue, Aluminum, White, Quartz, Azur, Dark Green, and Bordo.
  • Optional window cuts display a printed title page, customer name, project title, property name, or logo.
  • Foil stamping available for logos, metallic text, department names, and branded presentation covers.
  • 10 covers per box in the selected size and color.

Hard Cover Spine Size & Sheet Capacity

Choose the spine size based on sheet count and paper weight. Standard 20 lb. paper allows a higher sheet count, while thicker 32 lb. presentation paper reduces the number of sheets that will fit.

Spine Size 20 lb. Paper 32 lb. Paper
20 / 03 mm 20 sheets 15 sheets
40 / 05 mm 40 sheets 30 sheets
60 / 07 mm 60 sheets 40 sheets
80 / 08 mm 80 sheets 60 sheets
100 / 12 mm 100 sheets 80 sheets
120 / 15 mm 120 sheets 90 sheets
160 / 18 mm 160 sheets 120 sheets
190 / 21 mm 190 sheets 140 sheets

Using heavier paper, tabs, inserts, dividers, laminated sheets, or specialty stock? Choose the next larger spine when the document is close to the stated capacity.

Cover Options

Unibind Hard Covers are available in Black, Dark Blue, Aluminum, White, Quartz, Azur, Dark Green, and Bordo. Optional window cuts are available when you want a printed title page, logo, customer name, or project title to show through the front cover. Custom foil stamping is also available for branded presentations and repeat logo orders.

New custom foil logo orders require a one-time die plate setup charge. The die plate charge applies once per new logo or new artwork, not once per box.

How to Bind Unibind Hard Covers

  • Count the pages and choose the correct spine size from the capacity chart.
  • Align the pages neatly and place them inside the hardcover spine.
  • Place the assembled book into a compatible Unibind thermal binding machine.
  • Complete the heating cycle, crimp when required, and allow the book to cool before handling.

Compatible Machines

Unibind Hard Covers work with compatible Unibind and Peleman thermal binding systems, including the UniBinder 60, UniBinder 120, UniBinder 8.1, and UniBinder 8.2.

Best Uses

Unibind Hard Covers are ideal for client proposals, sales presentations, financial reports, real estate books, portfolios, training manuals, policy books, business plans, project books, annual reports, and short-run presentation books.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the correct spine size?
Count the sheets, note the paper weight, and include any tabs, dividers, inserts, laminated pages, or specialty stock.

Each box contains 10 hard covers in the selected size and color.

Can I add a logo or custom title?
Yes. Custom foil stamping is available. New artwork requires a one-time die plate setup charge.

Fast and Efficient Service With Great Products

Posted by CINDY HYATT on May 27, 2020

Advanced Filing was fast to ship my order even though it was in 2 shipments. It is nice to have supplies shipped fast and not using Covid as a reason for slow shipments like so many other businesses do. I appreciate the fast professional service from Advanced Filing.
