Phoenix Fireproof File Cabinet, 2-Drawer, 31" Deep for Legal Files (LGL2W31)

The Phoenix LGL2W31 is designed for offices that need the filing flexibility of both legal- and letter-size records in a lower two-drawer cabinet. Its full 31-inch exterior depth provides 26 inches of interior filing depth in each drawer for greater capacity than the compact LGL2W25.

Choosing your configuration

31" vs. 25" depth: choose the LGL2W31 when maximum drawer capacity is more important than conserving floor depth. Choose the LGL2W25 when aisle space, tighter delivery routes, or a compact office footprint make a shallower cabinet more practical.

2 drawers vs. 4 drawers: choose this two-drawer model when you want a lower cabinet profile or have a moderate record collection. Choose the LGL4W31 when you need approximately twice the number of protected filing drawers within a similar floor footprint.

Legal/letter vs. letter-only: choose the wider LGL2W31 when legal-size storage or mixed legal-and-letter filing is required. Choose the narrower LTR2W31 when all records are letter size and conserving cabinet width is more important.

A delivery-service selection is required when ordering the Phoenix LGL2W31. The currently listed full-service set-in-place, curbside, and commercial-dock delivery options are included. Choose the service that matches your receiving capabilities and desired placement.

Access & placement

• Doorways: verify the narrowest opening along the complete delivery route.
• Hallways and turns: confirm adequate clearance for corners, tight turns, moving equipment, and long carries.
• Elevators: verify elevator door opening, interior dimensions, and weight capacity.
• Stairs: disclose all stairs or steps before shipment.
• Truck access: disclose restricted tractor-trailer access, remote locations, or small-truck requirements.
• Receiving schedule: timed, after-hours, or restricted receiving may require advance approval.
• Floor conditions: place the cabinet on a level floor capable of supporting the cabinet and its fully loaded weight.
• Drawer clearance: allow enough room in front of the cabinet for both drawers to open fully without blocking an aisle or doorway.

Special access conditions may require advance approval and additional charges. Undisclosed stairs, elevators, narrow openings, tight turns, restricted truck access, or other delivery conditions can result in delays, redelivery fees, return charges, or restocking fees.
