- Freight / LTL (Heavy & Oversized): Fireproof cabinets, safes, and furniture ship by freight; not eligible for flat parcel rates.

Freight / LTL — Heavy Furniture, Fireproof Cabinets, Safes, Shredders, Business Machines
Large/heavy products ship via Freight (LTL) and are not eligible for the parcel flat/free rates above. We’ll quote the best method for your destination.
Service Levels (What to Expect)
- Commercial Dock-to-Dock: Delivery to a commercial address that has a loading dock or forklift. Driver stays with the truck.
- Curbside with Liftgate: The driver lowers the pallet to the ground at the curb/driveway. Driver does not carry items inside.
- Inside / White-Glove (by quote): Threshold or room-of-choice service when feasible at the destination.
Common Extras (“Accessorials”)
Some addresses require extra services for heavy items that may add charges:
- Residential Delivery: Homes and non-commercial locations.
- Liftgate: Hydraulic platform to lower heavy freight to ground (needed when there’s no dock/forklift).
- Inside/Threshold: Bringing freight just inside the first door or to a room (when accessible).
- Small/Box Truck: For tight streets, low clearances, or restricted access.
- Stairs / No Elevator: Any carry beyond the first threshold with stairs involved.
- Appointment / Call-Ahead: Carrier schedules a delivery window with you.
- Limited-Access: Schools, churches, construction sites, storage facilities, military bases, etc.
If required services aren’t selected in advance, carriers may bill the difference at cost.
Customer Responsibilities
- Tell us before shipment about constraints (residential, no dock, tight access, stairs, restricted hours, etc.).
- Ensure safe truck access and have an adult (18+) available to sign. Missed appointments, re-delivery, reconsignment, and storage fees are billed at cost.
- Full-service deliveries go as far as is safely accessible at your location.
Processing & Delivery Speed
- Stock parcel items ship in 1–3 business days; typical transit 1–5 business days to commercial addresses. Your estimated ETA will be listed in customer notes after we have had a chance to process it.
- When shipping to a residential address, please note that carriers may require additional handling time; this can add approximately 3–4 additional business days in transit, depending on location.
- Made-to-order or freight-only items may require additional processing or scheduling time.
