The Phoenix LTR4W25 Fireproof File Cabinet delivers premium fire protection and compact footprint ideal for letter-size storage. Featuring UL Class 350 1-hour fire protection, impact resistance, and explosion protection, this cabinet is engineered with Phoenix's proprietary Styronite® insulation. Each of the four drawers is independently insulated and secured via a key-operated plunger lock. Available in Light Gray, Putty, or Black.

Do I need to assemble anything when it arrives?

No assembly required. The cabinet arrives fully built—just unlock the drawers and start filing.

Is this water-resistant too?

Yes. While not waterproof, Phoenix cabinets are sealed and insulated to resist sprinkler and hose water during a fire.

Can I store items other than paper?

Definitely. Many users store valuables like USB drives, backup media, passports, and more in Phoenix fireproof cabinets.

How do the drawers lock?

The key-operated plunger lock secures all four drawers simultaneously. Two keys are included.

Does it have anti-tip safety?

Yes. Only one drawer can open at a time thanks to a built-in interlock system to prevent tipping.

Can I bolt it to the floor?

No. Drilling into the cabinet would compromise its fireproof insulation. Its 485-lb weight provides stability without anchoring.

How do I clean the finish?

Use a soft cloth and mild cleaner. The enamel finish resists fingerprints and scratches with minimal upkeep.

Can I use hanging file folders?

Yes. Rails are built in for front-to-back hanging folders. We offer compatible Hanging File Folders and Top Tab File Folders.

What’s the difference between this and the LGL4W25 model?

This LTR4W25 model is optimized for letter-size only. The LGL version is wider and supports both legal and letter files.

Can it stop zombies?

Probably not. But with 485 lbs of steel and insulation, it might slow one down.

All Phoenix products carry a three-year parts and labor warranty against manufacturer defects. This warranty will not cover malfunctions caused by product misuse or abuse. Warranty service must be preauthorized by Phoenix's Technical Service Department, and the warranty registration information should be on file with Phoenix. Warranty is provided only to the original purchaser and is not transferrable. All Phoenix insulated files and safes also carry a lifetime Free After-A-Fire Replacement warranty to the original purchaser of the product. Phoenix will replace the product with a like model free of charge in exchange for photos and a testimonial letter detailing the circumstance of the fire and how the product performed.
